Distribution Partner Research & Matching Support
Stop waiting for the right distributor to find you.
A distributor search can easily become passive: a recruitment page, a trade-show stand, and months of hoping the right partner notices. Partner Signal takes a more active approach. We research manufacturers that have publicly announced they are recruiting distributors, and distributors that may fit them. With your prior approval, we contact shortlisted companies and ask whether they are open to an initial conversation. We arrange an introduction only when both sides say yes.
What we do
Research first. Introductions second.
Manufacturers announce distributor recruitment and channel changes publicly — on their websites, in trade media, in partner directories. We monitor that information systematically, assess fit on both sides, and support introductions where the fit is real.
For manufacturers
Identify potential distributors for your products
A distributor has left a territory. Coverage has gone quiet. Or you are entering a new market and cannot see which distributors could carry your products. You need more than names from a directory: we identify and assess potential distributors against your product range, target markets, and service requirements, and document the basis for each recommendation using published sources.
For distributors
Identify manufacturers actively seeking distributors
A supplier has discontinued a line, or you want to add a new range. The question is not which manufacturers exist, but which ones are publicly recruiting in your territory. We identify those manufacturers, then check them against your existing lines, capabilities, and any obvious conflicts before an introduction is made.
The waiting problem
A recruitment page cannot close a gap in distributor coverage
Pages wait to be found
A “distributors wanted” page only works if the right company happens to visit it. While it waits, the territory stays uncovered.
Trade shows generate contacts, not confirmed interest
A stack of business cards does not tell you whether a contact is interested in representing your products. Real interest is rarely checked before you spend time following up.
Unresearched outreach wastes time on both sides
Approaches without research burn time on both sides: mismatched product lines, hidden conflicts, and emails that were never relevant to the recipient.
We start from what is already public — who is recruiting, who is expanding, who covers what — and check genuine interest before an introduction is proposed. No mass mailings. No random approaches.
Why Partner Signal
A measured approach to matchmaking
Evidence-based shortlists
Each recommended candidate is accompanied by relevant published sources — such as recruitment notices, product information, and territory coverage — so you can independently verify the basis for our assessment.
Fit checks, including conflicts
We look for product overlap and channel conflicts before proposing an introduction, so neither side spends time on a pairing that was never going to work.
A clear, limited role
We research and support introductions. We do not negotiate or agree commercial terms on either party's behalf, sign contracts for either party, or receive, hold, or transfer payments between them. Our role and its limits are agreed in writing before work begins.
What you receive
A shortlist is more than a list of company names
For each potential partner, we document the work behind the recommendation:
- The relevant public sources we reviewed — recruitment notices, product information, territory coverage.
- Why the company may fit the opportunity.
- Product and territory compatibility.
- Potential overlaps or channel conflicts we found.
- Points that remain unverified or require further confirmation.
If the public information does not support a credible shortlist, we will tell you. We do not force an introduction simply to produce a result.
How it works
Three stages, from signal to conversation
Discovery
We research manufacturers publicly recruiting distributors and distributors that appear to fit, and prepare a shortlist with the reasons for each fit.
Introduction
With our client's prior approval, we contact shortlisted companies to present the opportunity and ask whether they are open to a direct introduction. We arrange an introduction only when both parties have expressed interest.
Coordination
We support the exchange of basic information so discussions can begin, and track progress through the early stages. Commercial discussions are held directly between the parties.
What does “confirmed interest” mean?
Both sides have expressed a willingness to have an initial conversation. That is all it means. It is not a commitment to appoint a distributor, represent a product, negotiate commercial terms, or sign a contract — those decisions belong to the two parties.
Tell us what you manufacture — or want to represent — and which country matters to you.
One email is enough to get started. We review the relevant public information, tell you plainly what we find, and agree a fixed scope and price before any paid work begins.
